Come out and see some sweet bands for a great cause, OCTOBER 24TH- BLUE CAFE HUNTINGTON BCH 9PM Yeastie Boys- Love Canal- Channel 3 -The Outsiders and Anarchy Taco. Lots of great stuff will be raffled off, including some cool Hated stuff! So please join us for a great evening of Punk Rock by the sea. 21+ Hopefully in the future we can have a show for those of you youngsters too. The only thing with that flyer is that's not how he spells his name for the band. Sue has it right on the post. One more with something spelled wrong. The flyers are good though.

the h in reahl got throw...n in for free, thats a bargin in todays economy..
but, i'm sure it will be corrected before printing................
remember when flyers were printed not posted??

Not being able to see out of it and having to use six kinds of drops in it a day, is a drag, and its causing the working eye to strain. This makes for headaches, and it also makes him tired. The next operation will be the week before the benefit, we will see how it goes then, but until then he is doing his best to keep it together. I wanted to thank you guys in LOVE CANAL for all the hard work you have put in towards this benefit, i went by to drop flyers at Vinyl Solution today and low and behold there were already some there. thanks so much-Eggy and Steve

that be arab....., i dont remember him doing this much for
the band the first time around (1982-1986) except playing guitar!
and i hear arab forgot the "new" flyer with the corrections and
printed the reahl instead of real ones!!...i think everyone will still show
their support even with a bunch of alzheimers patients running around...

I was a bit confused by your post Sue, I didnt know if you were supposed to go to paypal and then send money to merfnet.com, but I figured it out, so I will share.
Just go to www.merfnet.com and the donation page comes right up, you must have a www.paypal.com account, setting up a paypal account is really easy, it just links to your bank account and is a great way of making online payments, in this case, a great way to make an online donation!!!!!
Hey Sue, just wanted to let everyone know that once you click on the link for www.merfnet.com and then click on the donation tab. You can make your donation there even if you don't have a paypal account.
Once you click on the donate tab, look towards the bottom of the screen and you will see the Visa, Mastercard, AE and Discover. Click on the blue "Continue" and make your donation without setting up a paypal account.

I just talked to Steve Real he said the singer they will be auctioning off will be Jack Grishim of TSOL. Steve Real will be the Auctioneer and is looking forward to seeing everyone at the show. Thanks for the support.

Arab is asking that everyone be there by 8pm, and if your bringing something for the raffle, please be early so i can collect the items. thanx
The only people that need to be there early is Tommy Kustra and Yeastie Boys, but please show up by 9pm to see Tommy Kustra, Tommy is OG HB, he is picking up the pieces of his life that has taken a downward spiral after his son took his own life last year, friendship and music is his therapy, come support Tommy as we all support Steve as well.

Is it a band?
Tommy use to front MagicFish in the 80's, he also had a band going with Julie Ritter from Marys Danish in the 90's. For the benefit he will just be doing an acoustic set, he is a great singer, songwriter and guitar player. He is also working at The Guitar Dr. in Fountain Valley under the tuteledge of Doc Pittillo

Today if Steve is strong enough after several tests and blood work they will determine whether or not he will have another eye surgery. They will do the procedure later this afternoon if all tests are go! Wish him luck, its an 11 hr process and this will be the one that determines if he will be able to have the lens attachment allowing him to possibly see again.

So its almost time to party in Steves honor and make some money! Raffle tickets are 10 bucks and alot of great stuff will be raffled off, and at the end of the evening some lucky person will be going home with half the money earned selling raffle tickets, hence the name 50/50 raffle. 6 great bands, and a chance to win a date with Jack Grisham. It's 10:30 and no one's posted anything yet, so I'm thinking it musta been a great show! I was planning on going, till we had to run my Dad to the ER. Long story, but luckily he checked out OK this time.

Anyways, since I haven't seen any posts yet, I'm guessing it was a hell of a show.
Had a busy day planned including going to the show and it all went out the window when we had to take my Dad to the ER. Long story - he should be OK, we hope.
