Things are moving along pretty good, I have the server all setup to stream mp3s and will be writing an interface to show what's playing, what has been played and allow people to request songs. It should be pretty fucking cool.
I have it rolling right now and it is currently in testing and only a couple people can connect at a time until I get the relay to live365.com up.
NOTE: I only have it streaming at 56k which is probably way to much for modem users. I plan to add a 24k stream once things are working the way they should be. ALSO NOTE THAT SINCE THIS IS IN TESTING MODE THAT THE STREAM MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE.
The only players I have tested so far are winamp and windows media player 8.0 so if you are set up with something else I can not guarantee it will work.
For Winamp: Launch the program and hit CTL-L and type in radio.ocpunk.com:8000 and hit enter and the stream should start playing. You can download Winamp for free at www.winamp.com
For Windows Media Player: mms://radio.ocpunk.com:8000
Also, The songs rotating through are from Diesel Boy, Strung Out, Gameface, Split Decision, and No Way Jose. Once it becomes live I will be broadcasting more signed and unsigned bands from Orange County. The stuff playing now is for testing, except for Split Decision and No Way Jose.
