I want to know how to take a camcorder and put the video on the computer to make a music video, thanks

You'll need a video card that is capable of capturing video as well as some editing software (here (http://www.adobe.com]Adobe[/url] Premiere, etc) if you want to edit it. ATI makes a few different video cards that have that capability.

Once you have that, you will be able to connect the camcorder or VCR to your PC and record the video to your hard drive. Beware that video takes a shitload of space when it is not compressed.

Some of the newer camcorders and PC support Firewire which is a simple connection that allows you to capture video as well. Do a search on the net for video capture and there should be a bunch of helpful sites to get you started.
