What is the best show you have ever been to? It can be any genre of music. And, which would be the best show you would want to see? You can put any bands together, regardless of genre and if they are still together or not.

The best show I have ever been to is The (International) Noise Conspiracy, the Hives (ya baby!), Rival Schools, and Midtown at the Glasshouse in Pomona back in December. I wasn't too keen on Rival Schools, but getting to see the Hives was so amazing that I still brag to all my friends that I've seen them and they haven't.

I have yet to think of THE perfect show.

i went to the same show but different venue. I saw it at the Roxy and I have to say it was all good with the exception of rival schools....they suck. And I was pretty upset that the hives were the openers! Anyway one of my other favorite shows was back in 1992 at the paladium and it was The Adolescents, Fear and the Toy Dolls! Awwww yes..... what a killer show that was!

Toy Dolls!!!

Sweet, I love them! I have never seen them live though. How were they, if you remember that far back? :D

They haven't put out anything in a couple of years so maybe they are due for an album and quite possibly a tour. :)

I wore out my "James Bond Lives Down Our Street" 12 Inch because I played it about 1000 times, luckily I was able to find a shiny new one at Noise Noise Noise.

Actually I was lucky enough to see the toy dolls 3 different times and each time they kick more and more ass! Im pist because they recently came out with Anniversary Anthems but didnt even bother to tour the state! But Olga did find some time to fill in for a member of the Dickies when they toured europe. Them punk asses! This year they are releasing yet another best of album... I think this is like number 13.... and it's called covered in toys. Hopefully they will use this as an excuse to tour the US again!

I'd have to say that the best show I've ever been to was Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy at the Troubador. I don't even like either of those bands that much but their live show was the most amazing thing ever. Oh and Joe Strummer and the Mescalaroes at the House of Blues is a close close second. Other great live bands I've seen - The Pattern, Rocket From the Crypt, The Gadjits, The Slackers, Le Shok.

My dream show? Ohh that's a tough one. It would go something like this:

Rancid. opening up, doing lots of songs from "Life Won't Wait."
Velvet Underground. Circa 1969. No Nico.
Bob Dylan and the Band. From their 1966 tour.
The Smiths. This is a lot of bands so if I had to cut someone it might be them.
Elvis Costello and the Attractions. Right after the release of "Blood and Chocolate."
The Clash. Headlining of course. From about 1980 so they can do "London Calling" songs but no Sandanista.

The best show ,i think, would be The Ramones headlining. The Weakerthans would open for them and after The ramones would be The Sex pistols.

My perfect show would have to be Led Zeppelin, and the Who, and they would be opened for by Bad Religion, T(I)NC and the subhumans. I could think of way more bands, but that would just make this post ridiculous.
