i didnt go to jhonny homicide at chain reaction (yes that was a long time ago) but my sister went and said it really sucked ass until jhonny homicide came on. i heard it was a bunch of emo / hardcore crap and linkin park wannabes. anyone else go?

i dont really know about jhonny homocide. i saw them at a back yard party a while back but i dont think i liked them too much. but the guys are ok i guess. dont know them that well cept one and hes fuckin creepy

the jonny homicide show was good when they played. the show sucked until then. there were a bunch of emo kids and preppy girls dancing around and bobing their heads. it was a sad sight

i think mods listen to the same thing as skins. ska and reggae.

the skins and mods came about around the same time. but im not too sure on the music preference.

Is there really a Mod scene today ? I would like to know what bands represent this. In the 60's they would listen to R&B, Motown and Rocksteady .... i.e The Who, Marvin Gaye ( Quadrophenia is a great flix for this ).. in the wave that happen in the late 70's - 80's they listened to The Chords, The Jam, Purple Hearts, The Lambretta's among other and I am sure that I am missing a few from both waves.... so I am curious as to what is happening now ???????

I don't believe there is a mod scene these days. I am pretty sure I am thankful for that.

What about the Intelligista? I saw them with Johnny Homicide at some battle of the bands a while back and they were in the OC weekly too.. everybody i know calls them a mod band and they are really like the who with like an old keyboard thing and they dress like that.
