Hey, I'm a bass player from San Clemente and I'm kind of new to OC. I'm 20 years old, I have my own fairly high-grade equipment and transportation. I have both live and studio experience. If any serious bands require a bassist, let me know and we'll see if we can't set something up. I'm looking for more of a poppy, punk, or emo type of deal or ska, my influences include Less Than Jake, Saves The Day, Reel Big Fish, Midtown, Finch, AFI, and the like. Email at newguy@mad.scientist.com.

i'm putting a band together with my friend who is a sexy, talented female singer. We have big plans and big ideas, and we're going to bring the rock. I've been playing drums for 10 years, she's been singing for who knows how long, but she has some pipes. We're also looking for a guitarist and someone on keys. As far as influences go, we're into all kind of shit. we're not sure what it will be- but I'm thinking indie rock n roll, with sass n soul. interested in becoming a rockstar? IM today on AIM.

As for the first reply, I have 8 years on bass... I've recorded with a Philadelphia ska band called Something With a W that you've almost 100% sure never heard of, I've played in a hardcore band that went nowhere and numerous pop-punk endevours that also ended in failure... so yeah, I spend a lot of time in practice rooms :)
But hey second poster-person, I don't have AIM... hell, I don't even have a computer, this one is my friend's. If you want to get a hold of me try email, newguy@mad.scientist.com. By the way, I can also play guitar pretty good if you'd rather have that....
