I understand that the Circle Jerks are some of the members of Black Flag but that was not the question. The question was about the band's early years....each band (Circle Jerks and Black Flag) had two separate early years because they are two different and separate bands.

They are NOT the same band jackass. The only members of Black Flag in The Circle Jerks is their former lead singer Keith Morris and Black Flag drummer Chuck Biscuits joined later.

Black Flag cannot be the Circle Jerks "in their early years" because they are two different bands. Keith left to start a NEW band. If Black Flag had changed their name to the Circle Jerks then OC Drunk Punk's argument would have some validity. If the question had been what musician would you have liked to seen in thier early years, again , Drunk Punk might have a point.

But I just suspect he is reacting to the fact that Black Flag was fuckin crap with Henry Rollins. It does seem blasphemous to consider HR's Black Flag to be the evolution of KM's black Flag.

And just so you can really hate me and mispell dirty words in a nasty reply...

I was there, I saw all of those bands and so many more, more times than I could ever remember even without the drugs. A few even played at my wedding thirteen years ago.

(honestly I feel pretty lucky to been part of something so exciting - and I still get off on all of it and love that it still can effect people the way it does)

I think that even if the gay ramones didnt form, the world wouldnt be THAT different, they were just one of the many of their kind at that time. also, i've heard the greatest hits live and its not all that great...some things were alright i guess...but all in all, not my favorite band.

im pretty sure i would have liked to see the DESCENDENTS in their early years. theyre the perfect example of a band that was only good(In my opinion) in the early years. milo goes to college is one of if not my favorite record of all time, but after they became ALL, everything sucked. I cant say ide have liked to see the ramones, or the clash, or the pistols in their early years cause in my opinion they were good the whole time so it owuldnt really matter i fi saw them at the end of their careers or at the beginning. mmmmmm but DK is another i wouldve liked to see.
