The Unseen

I've been listing to them nonstop for about 2 weeks now, and it just occurred to me that after about 5 songs, the music doesn't hold my attention anymore and my mind wanders away from the lyrics onto what ever my mind decides at the time is interesting or relevant. Have any one else noticed this? Wel, at least they arn't the Casualties.

Just a thought, so please, if you are a fanatic, don't kill me.

ya that happens to me a lot with some bands.. not that it's a bad thing.. but sometimes it tends to piss me off.

if i need some noise to fall asleep to.. i can do it with that kind of music tho.. cause it's good but not very exciting.

but that doesn't happewn to me with the unseen ever. that's your deal heh.

It happens often with bands that tend to have every song sound the same, which isn't bad, just repetitive. Why mess with a winning combination?

I tend to sleep to the sounds of Led Zeppelin, usually houses of the holly, or Pink Floyd, usually Wish You Were Here.

The unseen don't bore me, they just got a little repetitive, I had been listing to them nonstop for about 2 weeks when I posted that.

What Unseen Record were you listening to? Cos' I noticed that a while ago with "The anger and the truth". One minute I'm listining to the first track and the next minute the whole thing has gone by. Maby it's just a short cd.

I don't know, it could be that you were listining to them non-stop and the music just became a part of the background noise...(like elevator music, they always have but you don't really hear it all the time or even notice it anymore 'cos it's always there and it's a regular thing, and you're used to it)... Sorry if you don't understand what i'm saying, somethings are just hard to explain sometimes.

You should mix it up. listen to an Unseen record, then maby a Casualties, and then maby somethin else like the Virus. You'll probably start to hear the lyrics again, maby even find yourself singing along too.

It was the Anger and the Truth, and it does just become part of the back ground music. I only listend to it so much becuse I was too lazy to change the CD in my player. Mook.

ya dude... anger and the truth is like 28 minutes long... if you wanna GOOD fucking unseen album its LOWER CLASS CRUCIFICATION or SO THIS IS FREEDOM that shit has some good fuckin lyrics, and all the songs are fuckin great. also some other great bands to listen to with great meanings are crass of course, defiance, a global threat, and BOB fuckin MARLEY... so ya man, after you listen to an album over and over again, you kinda just dont even recognize the lyrics or anything, i kinda space out, its weird...

Yeah, Lower Class Crucification is and So This Is Freedom are both good albums. I already listen to Crass, A Global Threat and Bob Marley, but thanks for the suggestions anyways. Mook.

They are called This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, and I heard of them though this website called WWW.NothingNiceToSay.com, go their and read though some of the older posts, I think he left a link to some of their music. I think they are from the midwest some where, but I could be wrong. By the way, they are good, not as good as crass, but they arn't exactly the same either. Peace.

yeah that happens to me too. I'm listening to SOA and next thing i know the whole fucking Cd is over it's like my mind doesn't wanna pay attention but i love that band and i'm getting tired of them this sucks
