normally I wouldn't post this on here but, brodie was hot as ever. I hadn't been to a show in a while since that one, and it's weird how everything is changing. It was so packed you couldn't even fall, I wasn't even able to walk on the ground. Now, I don't mind it being so packed but, it's more so when people go to a show with a dick up their ass. I saw these two crazy bitches right next to me yelling, and fuck if you're going to fight then do it and get it over with.
Then there was the pit, the pit sucked balls! there were about 5-8 people in there, and I sware everyone looked like they were 12 and sporting rancid. I dont see why you'd wear a rancid shirt to a distillers show.
As far as their show went, it was okay. on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 5. It didnt seem like they were into the show, as if they weren't having fun. Why would I want to go seea band who seemed like they didnt want to perform in the first place? The music was great though, the vocals and everything were good live. did i mention brodie was hot as fuck?

there were 2 bands there that came on before them; Kill Hannah, and some other band. I try to get at a show before opening bands just to see all of everyones set. I have to say Kill Hannah isn't my type of music at all but, they were the best band to be on that stage that night.

I've noticed I have more fun with little venues, and bands that are just starting out. They enjoy the crowd, and put their all in the music. In return it makes it a fucking great show. To all those small bands, with little notice, I salute you.

yeah i heard the show sucked. my friends didn't have tickets but they went anyways and just sat outside hoping to see brody. i was grounded so i didn't get to go. my friends met andy and tony and some guys from the band kill hannah (whoever that is, some emo band im guessing?) anyways, your right about one thing...small local shows are way better. the distillers are getting way to big for themselves, and they are starting to loose there true punk attitude. i went to there free show in yorba linda and i was in the very front. it was a great show but u could tell they just wanted to get it over with. no jumping, stomping, spitting .....nothing. not even a "hey thanks for coming to our stupid show!" it was lame. sorry u had a shitty time.

I had to go to the show because I bought a ticket in advance. or else i would have went to flogging molly. it might have been a good thing you were grounded that night haha.
i was glad i went because I saw people I hadn't seen in years though. Kill hannah is like emo meets the cure meets smashing pumpkins tunes. I wish i had met them!
as for the whole distillers making it seem like they wanted to fucking leave; thats EXACTLY how it was! they had no enthusiasm what so ever. now i think the term "sold out" is used too often but the distillers are starting to live up to that term so sad to say.

I believe she was a little tipsy too. she said that she was going to puke and she was holding a corona durring their set too haha. i think that was the best part. the fact that she might have puked on some little tiny bopper kids.

I went to that show, i was pretty much one of the only rockers there that night, but i didnt expect much from the distillers that night anyways. They are still a good band and it was depressing to watch them draw a crowd of such consumers. I saw this guy in the pit wearing some lugs.
