Like I said before... It was testimony at Scott's trial and was confirmed by a witness of the defense. So it's available in the court transcripts (which is public record).

Scott was drinking a six pack of paulie girl every half hour and wasn't sleeping much. That's not counting all the bar tabs and the bottles of barcardi which he was also consuming fairly regularly.

But then he drank constantly when he was in the Mechanics and La Mort. The only time the drinking got to be a bit much for him was when he was singing for the Weasels (even Scott couldn't keep up with them).

There is Punk Rock, which is of course a much better genre compared to that shit you refer to. I checkedout a few of those bands you've listed...The Teeth are weird, and I admire that, but Tiltwheel is a generic indie/emo-scene band. yuck.

Open your eyes next time you're down here. It's not that punk doesn't exist round here, it's just more underground than what your'e used to.

Orange County does have a punk scene...and from what I have seen the last 20 years a pretty good one.....When was the last time you wanted to go to a punk show on a Friday or Saturday night and couldnt find one??? Sometimes its in your face and sometimes its hidden in a wharehouse. If you know the scene you will find it!

you are right on the weekends, there is always something going on around here. I get many emails from bands telling me where they are going to be playing at. It may be a club, warehouse or backyard party. There are a few clubs in HB to play at and I know at one time it seemed like San Clemente was the place to play at as there were a few places to play there. You cannot get much further apart in Orange County then those two places. The Anarchy(Downey) is not that far from HB.The Dollhut has been having gigs for years now.The Tropics in Fullerton has occasional shows (I will be playing there on Sat with The Wombstretchers.. I know cheap plug) Become part of the scene instead of bagging on it and you will see what is out there.......proactive brings better things then negativity.....
