I DON'T CARE IF THEY ARE OLD THE NEW YORK DOLLS PUT ON THE BEST SHOW THIS YEAR!!!! DAVID JOHANSEN HAS LOST WEIGHT GREW HIS HAIR AND HAD A WARDROBE CHANGE HE LOOKED AND SOUNDED BETTER THAN EVER !!!! THIS WAS THE MOST KICK ASS SHOW EVER IF YOU WERE NOT THERE YOU MISSED OUT BIG TIME !!!! THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went sat night but left early when sylvain sylvain went on a anti Bush tirade and dedicated the song "trash" to him.

I do give the dolls credit for influencing bands like the the Ramones,Sex pistols even Kiss to name a few. I also think that if it was not for them "Punk" as we know it today would be very different and this board might not have ever been created.

With that said I thought they put on a pretty good show even with most of the original members dead. I can't compare it to seeing them live the first time around I think they broke up in 1975 I was under 10yrs old.

David was alot skinnier than I expected and I think he could pass for 65 even though he is only 54. That song list looked like something a opera singer might use. lol

I think David has lots of charisma and great stage presence, there are alot of newer bands that could learn from him(I don't mean copy him).

Even though I left a little early the show was nostalgic and entertaining, but not worth the $75 for two tickets and the $5.50 per beer.
