Democrat or Republican?

I was just wondering what everyone thinks about our political parties. Which do you affiliate with? I personally despise both. They are basically the same. Republicans use wealthy people, Democrats use minorities. I say use because they are not really interested in helping them, they pretend to care and in return they recieve their vote. It is nothing but a disgusting power struggle. Both parties recieve money from corporations. I consider myself independent. I think we need a change, how about you?

I affiliate myself with the Democratic Socialists of America. They are basically the US affiliate of the Socialist International, which is the largest political organization in the world. Anyway, they are more main stream in the rest of the world, but smaller in the US. Democrats and Republicans are basically the same these days. Not much of a difference. And they kinda stink. But thats whey we can vote. Vote them out. Being Independant is great. But be sure you don't accidentally make people think your with the American Independent Party which is one of the more wacko third parties.

the way i see it, Democraps are more of "the peopple" type power hungry leaders. Republicans are more of the, war associating type of power hungry leaders. Im independent myself because like norcalkid, i see that both parties are fucked up with power and pretend to care for the citizens of america and really all they are doing is winning your vote. like what bill clinton did, he went on the MTV shit and on all the youths votes. its all fucked up politcal shit. both parties are different though.... peace

I've never liked the leaders of those groups but if i had to pick on i guess it would be the democrates, the republicans are too busy putting all they're money in to military and don't care about their own people. Supposidly the democrates put more money in education and care more about the enviorment, but i really don't believe them
