I try to leave this message board free of censoring, but, I don't think we should be using racial slurs. Please re-phrase your post so it makes sense and don't use the racial slur. Thank you.

well a lot of girls talk about me and alot of guys will point and laugh and mock me and stuff and like in middle school there was thing girl and she was talking about me and she didnt even know me...and her name was amy..just my friend was like "theres this really cold hearted bitch named amy talking about you and calling you a wannabe punk and that oyu try to act pretty" and im like what the hell....and i didnt even know who she was so i had to confront her and she was denying everything and so i got mad and then things got out of hand and we started fighting and smacking eachother and pulling eachother's hair....but like after she was getting really beat up cuz she was relaly weak so shes liek "OMG!" and then walked away to her friends...andi m liek okay...and then she went to the bathroom and cried..so i've heard ...and like now she cant defend herself to me...now all she does is spread rumors about me and wrote nasty things about me in school books and shes like all talk...but thats the only thing that has ever happened..everything else the guys just point and laugh and yeah and girls just gigglle and stare and blah blah.it doesnt bother me much..unless it goes too far

Growing up I got teased a lot for liking "white" music but then I got teased by white kids for liking "mexican" music. I never let it bother me. And as I got older I found more people in Santa Ana and Norwalk that liked punk and indie. They're black, mexican, asian, and white. I think that since I am mexican i can only speak from my experience, but a lot of mexicans have found that punk speaks to them. It has the rage and frustration at the sytem that they have experienced for centuries. And Pharell Williams and Chad Hugo of the Neptunes (they produce hip hop songs) are an example of bridging the gap between races in music. They both love rock and are self proclaimed dorks in high school. Pharell is black and Chad is Asian. Yet, they have the hottest beats in hip hop right now(and for a long time before), and their own rock group, N.E.R.D., that mixes a rock band(the name escapes me) with hip hop beats.

dude ive lived just outside of dc for 16 years u got shot here just for lookin at some one wrong. luckily the the school where i was at there was about 20 of us that were total punk and no one ever messed wit us and if they did they got there ass beat but for real u cant take that shit man find a bunch of ur kind and fight for punk freedom!!

like a couple of years ago in middle school all the preppies decided that it would be "so cool" to turn "punk" i mean all hottopic bought shit..they thought Blink was "true" punk... it was a scary thing... lol... but then when they turned preppy again they all started making fun of the very people they had tried to become...

there is this mexican girl who absolutely hates me! omg...the thing is shes nice to all of my friends but me.... she serioulsly hates me for no reason i mean my friend went up and talked to her and she said she hates me cuz she saw me walkn down the hall and decided to hate me....god now it fcukin annoyin cuz i like to avoid conflict...i think its just the way i dress and everything

My school is pretty cool with whatever one listens to...unless it's rap or pop. Then they get made fun of...but I don't take any part in that..

yeah, the kids who are dumb and wear blink 182 stuff they think they are totaly punk and they make fun of me, because i wear rancid social distortion and casualties patches, and they are like dude you dont listen to them, what do you judge that on i say, they are you, man your a nerd you cant dress like that, but i can. i just say, i do what i want, there is only one cool punk kid, hes cool, and why do people even care how they dress or what they listen to, the kids dont even understand the music. listening to it is one thing, but understanding it, is another.

Hey wasn't this about "gangs" ? What is the point of being a member of a gang. Do like a race join together and then be some sort of a club and find some other "clubs" to like fight against? I don't get it, what are they fighting eachother for? Someone please explain.
